Conference Sponsorship Information

Information provided on the WIS2007 is intended to provide a flavour for the sponsorship opportunities available to your company. However, our dedicated Sponsorship Co-ordinator, Karleen Dudeck karleen.dudeck@materials.ox.ac.uk would be more than happy to discuss with you other unique sponsorship opportunities to cater to your needs. Please do not hesitate to contact Karleen if you have any questions.

There are two levels of sponsorship for WIS2007 – Gold and Silver. Each level has its own unique benefits to cater to your company’s interests. WIS2007 will have only one official Gold Sponsor, so this level represents a distinctive opportunity for your company to demonstrate their commitment to promoting women in science and engineering. Benefits of both the Gold and Silver sponsorship levels are summarised in the table below.

WIS2007 Sponsorship Levels

Gold Sponsor

£1500 plus

Silver Sponsor

£500

Benefits of sponsorship will extend beyond the day of the conference as well. All sponsors of WIS2007 will be invited to participate in the mentorship schemes offered by both OxWip and FEST. Combined, OxWip and FEST have over 2000 members who receive weekly email bulletins. By participating in the mentorship scheme, your company’s name or logo would appear in these bulletins.

Further, as WIS is planned to be an annual conference, your company will be given the first opportunity to sponsor WIS in future years. This will provide your company with the potential to reach new generations of young women in science as well as continue to foster ties with both OxWip and FEST.

Sponsorship of Women in Science 2007 provides a unique opportunity to reach women at a variety of levels of the science and engineering careers. The conference provides women a unique opportunity to network with other women in a variety of levels of their careers. Sponsorship of WIS2007 provides your company with an equally unique opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to promoting young women in science and engineering as tomorrow’s leaders.

To ensure that sponsorship agreements are kept, the conference has a dedicated Sponsorship Co-ordinator to liaise with sponsors and address any concerns sponsors may have. If you would like more information about the conference or have questions please do not hesitate to contact our Sponsorship Co-ordinator Karleen Dudeck karleen.dudeck@materials.ox.ac.uk
