Welcome to Women In Science 2007
Women are under-represented in leadership and decision-making positions locally, nationally and globally within science and engineering fields. Oxford Women in Politics (OXWIP) and Females in Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST) are two of Oxford’s leading organisations in promoting the advancement of women in public and professional life.
This conference will provide women in science, engineering and technology with inspirational role models, and a platform for career networking .The conference will bring together students and leading professionals, to encourage Oxford’s young women to explore the career and leadership opportunities that are available and to help them think creatively and ambitiously about their futures, while simultaneously fostering new connections between women currently pursuing a career in Science, Engineering and Technology.
