Personal Statement

Participating in OxWiP’s Mentorship Scheme will be an invaluable experience. However, in order for the programme to be successful, the right Mentors must be paired with the right Mentees. The following questions give you an opportunity to indicate your motivations for partaking in this scheme, what benefits you would like to achieve, and how much time you would be able to contribute to the scheme.

Please indicate what other commitments you currently have (i.e. sports, student organisations, or paid holiday work) and how you intend to spend the summer vacation: Please compose a short personal statement about why you are interested in participating in the OxWiP Mentorship Scheme. You may include details about your field of academic/professional interest, what you think you can contribute to the programme, what you would most like to gain from the experience, how much time you think you can devote to the scheme, and details of any previous internships or work experience, specifying how you benefited, what you enjoyed and/or what you did not enjoy:
